I am a passionate defense attorney dedicated to supporting clients through some of their most challenging times. My practice focuses on defending clients in stressful circumstances, leveraging my extensive knowledge and understanding of the judicial system, laws, and procedures—knowledge I’ve honed throughout my career.​

My unique personality and approach enable me to handle a wide variety of criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanors to felony offenses. In addition to criminal defense, I also practice in juvenile delinquency, child protection, maltreatment, licensing, investigations, and order for protection and harassment restraining orders.​

I believe that every client deserves the best legal defense possible, and I work tirelessly to deliver that for each individual who comes to me for help.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, before earning my law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. During law school, I gained practical experience working at the Anoka Public Defender’s Office, representing clients facing criminal charges. Before founding Claffey Law, I further refined my skills at Groshek Law, where I acquired valuable insights and skills that I continue to incorporate into my practice today. I also was a Law Clerk for Wolfgram Law Firm during law school which allowed me to gain real world experience outside the academic world.​​​
